For an exhibition of Willem de Kooning Academy, I collaborated and designed mugs with a message. The mugs are designed to have two sides. One we want others to see, and one we'd rather not see. We displayed these mugs on shelves placed on a giant mug stand. A mirror was attached in the ear of the mug intended to reveal the real message behind the mug’s buyer. The text on the mug itself is mirrored and can therefore only be revealed by (self) reflection.
